This web-site has been designed to act as a ‘collecting point’ for information about coastal Managed Realignment and Regulated Tidal Exchange projects in the UK and Northern Europe.  It is intended to be a location where all those involved in, or interested in, coastal management and flood protection can seek out information they need while also being a place for them to provide their own findings and views. 

In particular, it seeks to present the ‘lessons learned’ from past schemes in order to improve the implementation of future schemes.  We hope this proves to be useful and would welcome any thoughts or comments.  The site contains answers to the following questions:
