Topics book
This page presents a series of regularly-updated topic reviews on Managed Realignment (MR) and Regulated Tidal Exchange (RTE) projects. It was developed as an outcome of the first ABPmer-hosted conference on Managed Realignment in response to feedback from attendees.
These reviews collate and distil ‘case-study-focussed’ lessons across a range of six subjects (see list to right). This topic-based approach has been pursued to enable project managers and other interested parties to find the most important and pertinent information without sifting through the large amounts of project-specific or generic documentation that now exists.
This online topic book is designed to clarify our current understanding on these issues so that we can fill knowledge gaps and target future research and management. It will be populated on an ongoing basis by ABPmer alongside out updating of the associated map and database on this website.
